Standard for submission and presentation of abstracts

Abstracts are accepted in English.
Presentations should be in English.

Abstracts for paper and poster presentations must be submitted electronically no later than August 15th 2017. Please use the form below.

An individual may appear as first author on only one abstract.

The text of the abstract must:

  • Be 200 words or less - and include these paragraph headings: Introduction (describing background and objectives), Materials and methods, Results, Discussion and conclusions.

  • Not include the authors' names.

  • Abbreviations must be written in full the first time.

  • References, expressions of thanks, as well as the mentioning of organisations that provide economical support are not permitted.

Highlight 3 keywords.

Funding sources (sponsors) must be identified, including commercial, public, or private foundation grants, and off-label use of drugs.

Notification of acceptance:
August 15th 2017.

Therefore we strongly recommend that you compose the text of the abstract in your own word processor before beginning the online submission process. Check the spelling and grammar of that text before submitting it.

Specific instructions for paper presentations

  • Paper presentations will be in English.

  • There will be approximately 20 minutes for each presentation.

  • Computer and projector will be available in all rooms.

  • Paper presentations should be made electronically available to the conference committee by the beginning of the conference and will be made available for month on the conference webpage after the conference.

Specific instructions for poster presentations

  • The maximum size for posters is: 100 cm in width and 200 cm. in height.

  • The posters must be displayed at the allotted place no later than Thursday morning and must not be removed before the end of the conference.

  • The presenters are expected to answer questions during the paper/poster sessions Thursday afternoon.

  • It may be useful to bring downsized copies of the poster as hand outs.
